Welcome to Bucketly (“we,” “our,” or “us”). Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Bucketly mobile application.

By using Bucketly, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

a) Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Name
  • Email address

This information is used to create and manage your account.

b) User Content

Bucketly allows you to create and store personal content, including:

  • Bucket list items
  • Goals and subtasks
  • Travel destinations and visited countries
  • Journal entries
  • Uploaded photos
  • Completion timelines

This content is stored securely in our backend systems.

c) Purchase Information

Bucketly offers premium features through Apple In-App Purchases.

We do not collect or store your payment information. Payments are processed entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation of subscription status via RevenueCat to unlock premium features.

d) Automatically Collected Data

We use Firebase to support core app functionality. Firebase may collect limited technical information such as:

  • Device type
  • App version
  • Crash logs
  • Basic usage information

This data helps us improve app stability and performance.

We do not collect precise location data.

We do not track you across other apps or websites.

We do not use advertising identifiers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Sync and store your data securely
  • Provide premium subscription access
  • Improve app performance and reliability
  • Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

Bucketly uses the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google LLC)

Used for secure backend data storage, authentication, and app performance monitoring.

RevenueCat

Used to manage subscription status and integrate with Apple’s in-app purchase system.

These services may process data on our behalf according to their own privacy policies.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Firebase infrastructure. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

However, no digital system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information as long as your account is active.

If you delete your account, your personal information and associated content will be permanently deleted from our systems.

If you are located in the European Union or other regions with data protection laws, you may have the right to:
